SUCCESS STORY: PACIFIC SCIENCE CENTER THEORY EVENT 2018

The Pacific Science Center’s goal was to expand their audience with a 21+ cocktail party, Theory. To raise awareness and sell tickets, The Seattle Times Media Solutions built a multimedia campaign that included search engine marketing, mobile geofencing, targeted programmatic display ads, Facebook, email and advertising in seattletimes.com and The Seattle Times newspaper.

The promotion was launched in phases, starting with awareness-building early bird discounts, and building to urgent calls to action closer to the event. Images, ad copy and targeting were optimized for online ticket sales, so the Science Center could attribute ROI to their event marketing efforts.

Results: The campaign drove 1.5 million impressions, 13,800 clicks, and contributed to a sold-out event.
